Discover New Balance

The history of New Balance begins in Boston in 1906 thanks to William J. Riley, an English shoemaker who immigrated to Massachusetts.
Riley, immediately dedicated to the design and creation of specific footwear for people with foot problems, over time developed his production to create the iconic brand that New Balance is today.
The first NB running shoe dates back to 1938 and was followed by the production of models designed specifically for running, baseball, basketball, tennis and boxing. In 1961, a decisive year for the manufacturer, the "Trackster" was launched on the market: the first running shoe with a raised midsole under the heel and produced in six different sole widths. The success of this model was extraordinary and marked the history of footwear, so much so that it is still exhibited today at the Museum of Modern Art in San Francisco.
In 1976 Runner's World elected the M320 model as the best running shoe in the world and New Balance officially became one of the world's leading running sneaker companies.
Today New Balance holds the record as the fourth sports shoe company in the world, second in the USA, and this also thanks to its philosophy of loyalty to its values and objectives: integrity, teamwork, total consumer satisfaction and social responsibility. Production is located between the United States and the European Union, boasting models with unquestionable quality, second only to technical performance.
